'IT-BPO sector contributing to India's growth'

MUMBAI: Turning the spotlight on India's IT-BPO (business process outsourcing) sector, the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) began its 19th edition annual India Leadership Forum 2011.

"The Indian IT-BPO industry has had a phenomenal run over the last decade, contributing immensely to India's growth," Nasscom chairman Harsh Manglik said.

" It is imperative for industry stakeholders to break out of the traditional mould that resulted in past successes and step up to the aspirations of 2020. I hope this event will provide the platform for the industry to discuss, debate and strategise the growth path ahead," he added.
